Selling Price Ready Reckoner |
|
Divide the wholesale price (excluding VAT) by the number of units and multiply the result by one of the factors above. The result will be what you must sell a unit for (which will include the VAT) For example, a 1.5ltr bottle of Scotch contains 60 x 25ml measures. If it costs £21.00 before VAT, one measure costs 35p. To get a return of, say, 65%, you should multiply 35p x 3.3571 = £1.175p so sell it for £1.17 maybe. |
